Attention Runners: 

Volunteers Needed for a research study on the Pelvis and lower back.

We are conducting a study to examine the effectiveness of Osteopathic treatment of the SI joint or lower back region.  The assessment involves measurements of bony landmarks around the waist and parts of the spine, including digital photography, followed by specific treatment to correct the findings.

Total participation time (minus travel time) is approximately two hours. Testing and treatment will take place at my office located at 26 Charlotte Drive, Summerside.  If you are randomly selected for the control group (no treatment), you will receive a complementary full half hour Osteopathic treatment session following the completion of the study.

Wes will conduct a short telephone interview to determine your eligibility to participate in the study and then arrange a time to assess your suitability for the study.  Those eligible volunteers that are not chosen for the study based on pre-assessment criteria will also receive a free treatment session at the completion of the study.
