Race Results

Lynn-Anne Hogan is fitting for this year’s Good Guys Auto Glass Female Roadrunner of the year award.

It has been said that Lynn-Anne “oozes” encouragement! Young runners, fellow runners, new runners, even non-runners are touched by Lynn-Anne’s encouragement when she is at races. Her part in the Island Girls is Island history now.

Lynn-Anne organizes The Halloween Hustle, a 5k run and a 2k walk and has helped out at the Twin Shores 5k run. She has encouraged others to be Race Directors. She runs, she runs further, she runs faster, she has a baby, she runs with a stroller, she runs solo again, she runs at Island events, and she has great running “road trips” with her running buddies!!

2015 was a special year for Lynn-Anne for two reasons. One, she ran her first Harvest Festival 25k run and finished with a 2:43:34. Second, she had a sub 2 hour half marathon at the PEI Marathon in October, 1: 59:27. The sub 2 hour half was on her bucket list of things to do for 2015.

Other runs she completed in 2015 were the Bunny Hop at 30 minutes, a 28:31 Proudes Shoes 5k, a 1:00:54 Torch Run for Special Olympics, the Delta Ware 5k at 26:58, the Dunk River Run in 1:08:25. She also ran the ADL Golden Mile carrying her 2 and a half year old son, Alex from start to finish in 18:30.
